Ellen Kramer graduated from the London College of Practical Homeopathy in 1995. Within three years of graduating she had a successful practice in Islington, had set up 'The Healthy Living Centre'. and co-founded CHE. In 2003 she took over and became the Director of The College of Practical Homeopathy (UK) based in Finchley, North London . Currently she sits on the 'Homeopathic Accreditation Board' working closely with the Registering Bodies to develop good practice guidelines for the profession and an independent Accreditation and Regulatory system for the profession.
She has written 'A Practical Guide to Methods of Homeopathic Prescribing' which provides an excellent grounding in the basic principles of homeopathy and how the different approaches used by homeopaths can be understood and used more effectively by practitioners. It covers the whole process from taking a case and a time-line, understanding and using methods appropriately to the use of repertories, therapeutics books and materia medicas and links succinctly with the 'laws of homeopathy' and the need for an understanding of nutrition and herbal tinctures. All of this is in a readable, logical, easy to follow style as it explains methods in a practical manner based on some of the best teaching practices available.
