    Tony is a homeopath as well as an Alexander Technique trainer. The main focus in this seminar was on removing the tensions which interfere with the natural fluidity of movement - to restore posture, releasing a lot of the tension in the back, neck, legs etc. Tony gave everyone who wanted one a taste of what it feels like, so they would know first-hand and for their patients.

    Understanding your patients' real mental state

    During the evening talk Grace explained how homeopaths need to discover the mental state of the patient, not just take mental symptoms, in order to arrive at the most appropriate remedy - for example, fastidiousness is actually OCD, or tired on waking is depression.

    Bowel Nosodes

    This was an all-day seminar, and Tony was very generous with his knowledge of Bowel Nosodes. His talk was not only informative, but also very interesting. He gave really detailed pictures of not only the more common nosodes - such as Morgan, Syc-Co, etc. - but also enlarged our understanding of the lesser-known remedies like Bacillus Seven and Mutabile.

    Philip gave a brilliant talk, covering tongues and facial reading. He is a master herbalist and acupuncturist and is well known for his eclectic approach of ancient, modern and holistic medical techniques. His diagnostic methods include pulse and tongue diagnosis, face reading, character analysis, five elements, four temperaments, aryvedic doshas, as well as using an innovative technology from Germany such as Bio-resonance (Vega) testing.

  15. Ray Griffiths

    Supporting cancer with nutrition

    Monday 7th December



    Ray talked about specific nutrients that work at a deep cellular level to slow down the growth of a cell. Inflammation and uncontrolled growth are the driving force behind tumour growth, and Ray demonstrated how nutrition can work with the body to slow growth and reduce inflammation. Ray also described how he works with Kinesiology using homeopathic testers and Aura Soma oils.

    Peter told us how he feels that homeopaths need to move away from the medical model and offer something different. He described working with "Harmonics", which improve the fitness and performance of athletes. He urged us to change the way we market our practices, to place less emphasise on treating disease, and more on enhancing health and well-being.
